Wheel barometers made in North America are extremely
scarce, and virtually none was made prior to about 1840. This type of
barometer requires a large and varied selection of curved and bowed glass, as
well as glass tubing, and prior to 1840 is was practically impossible for the
American glass industry to produce it.
We hope to have one or two American wheel barometers on
